Congrats my dude. I got 2 more years of my 30s
I had the realization this morning... I'm not young anymore

I'm wiring up my game room/man cave. Was crawling around in the attic this morning (to avoid the daytime heat) and my body wasn't moving like I wanted it to

#1 I'm fat
#2 my joints kept cracking
#3 my knees hurt crawling across the lumber joists/framing
#4 it was hard to squeeze through the 16 OC framing

Finally sick of being me... Gonna do drastic changes (like I did 4 yes ago. Gonna maintain it this time as well)

Unrelated... Installed 2 nest thermostats... And just put my water heater on a timer. I'll probably go tankless in a few years. Also, makes me want to circle back to that generator project I was thinking of before

Next step is creating a schedule to save some dollars here and there

Thank you sir. 20's felt so long and 30's felt like it came and went in the blink of an eye. That's what I tell everyone.

I've been preaching for years, cardio (long distance jogging, hot bikram yoga). It will help with the joints and alignment issues.

When you say go tankless you mean getting water fed from the city, what does that entail?

You seem like someone who can do a geothermal energy for your home.

What's the generator project?

Going tankless means exchanging my electric water heater with 50 gallons of storage...for a propane fueled, on demand style heater, tankless. Much more efficient...but the energy savings were not really a factor. I think it was something like $30/year when I seriously sat down and started doing the math. It's purely a "nice to have" upgrade in the future whent he kids grow up and start using more water when they shower/bathe daily because they shower/bathe themselves. Just means endless hot water when the time comes.

Geothermal sounds good...but probably won't work. It's why it's not readily available at the commercial scale. I did notice yesterday, that it seems everyone around me suddenly has solar panels strapped to their roof. And from the outside looking in...the solar panels cost more than the trailers, double wides, and shanties they are anchored to...so I may look into that. Maybe there's some scam running that I haven't looked into...

The generator project was something I was looking into last year. We had just moved into our home in ?June? and were hammered by storm after storm after storm. It would knock the power out for hours at a time. At first, I wanted a whole house, propane powered generator. Turns out it was something like $20k. I had $20k but didn't have a disposable $20k at the time. We had just bought the duplex for cash...and then put a MASSIVE down payment on our residence. I could scrape it together now...but we have a mindset now of...we were probably without power a total of 3 days last year. So spending $20k for 3 days of inconvenience seems a bit much. Now we are considering a smaller, portable unit. Power goes out...roll it to the outside outlet...plug it in...fire it up...and have power to like 1 room (for a TVs, a computer, a space heater or fan depending on time of year, and the refrigerator...we would tether internet from our phones). It made the cost drop from like $20k to $3k...but because we have propane and not natural gas...so you have to factor in the hassle factor of swapping out tanks...or getting a larger or second propane tank delivered...

but then again...we haven't had power disruptions in a loooooooong time...so it kinda fell off of our radar. We will have to see what this year does really...

Why now to put this out what we all knew all along is the question.

You doubt how stupid people are. I think Joe will choose a different running mate and will win...then step down in less than 6 months. 2028, Trump will be out of the running and it will be a Republican landslide...

Edit: YouTube has started suggesting 1st Amendment auditor videos to me

I have been binge watching them for a few days now

Protect our brain data by making it law now, and then protect those laws. This potential future tech is interesting.

So the Russians now have full control of Artyomovsk or the โ€˜Bakhmut meat grinderโ€™.

How much money has been going into this proxy war so far thats teetering to WW3? Yet when I looking at my Canadian Western media it's being denied lol.

As long as Ukrainian citizens are willing to defend their country, I am willing to fund their defense.

But that isn't a strategy. Also, does it matter that last April the two countries were willing to agree to terms only for America to nip that in the bud because it didn't bode well with American governmental machinations? America doesn't give a shit about Ukrainians or Russians dying.

Ding ding ding! Correct, also give a bit credit to Boris Johnson for putting that peace deal down as well.

All Ukraine had to do was stay neutral, THAT WAS ALL.

Boris was doing it at the behest of his American masters. If the American government told him not to interfere and let them broker peace...or rather, to help them broker peace he would've done that.

The strategy so far seems to have worked quite well. Ukraine was able to push Russian forces back across the Dnipro river at the onset of the Russian Invasion, and the battle lines are mostly back to what they were from 2014 on. While Russian forces appear to have taken the town of Bahkmut, from everything i've read from all news sources I can get my hands on, at bare minimum they lost 5 soldiers for every 1 lost by Ukraine.

I've stated this many times before, Putin can end this war by simply removing his armed forces from Ukrainian Territory.

Also, got any links to that peace deal? I remember the first peace deal that Russia rejected, then the second that Ukraine rejected they would have lost essentially half of their country. The only things Putin, so far, has succeeded in this invasion was drive more countries closer to the US and NATO, kill and drive out russian youths, and show the world that his Military is actually quite bad for how large it is.

Here is a year's worth of interviews with people involved in keeping up with what's going on with Ukraine. Take this and then combine it with what you've been hearing so far and see where it gets you.
