Also, my over 2.5-year streak has ended...I caught the VID. I started on Wednesday when I had a debilitating headache. But that's it, the headache and some fatigue but none of the other symptoms. Did the rapid test, and then yesterday the PCR, and yup. I feel significantly better now though.

Seen the trailer yesterday but didn't care to watch until you posted cause I was never a fan of the franchise to begin with. I didn't know Donnie Yen would be in this, that changes things a bit. I may watch it, trailer looked good.

What? As many shitty movies as you watch and love? Go watch John Wick #1. #1 was great. #2 was decent...#3 was a huge drop in quality though...so I'm assuming #4 continues the trend.

I dunno, maybe I'm missing part of the article or something but I didn't see anything written about the stories substance revolving around race. All I read was their virtue signaling commentary concerning the inclusion of a POC into the cast and the backlash he received online for it. I didn't read anything that suggested his race would be an actual plot point. They essentially did the same thing with the Sea snake, that Denis Villeneuve did with Liet Kynes in "Dune".

And on the subject of all the "Patriarchy" talk, normally I would be with you but in this world - and the real world monarchical conflict that served as the original book/show's inspiration - the patriarchy literally did exist.
