I had CCCP up until today. I was watching Anime on Media Classic Player. All of a sudden it was playing very slow. I googled and it said something relating to sound. Didn't made any sense. I played it on windows media player - it worked. When I removed CCCP it was fine, I installed Media Player Classic by itself and it worked.

But when I download anime it doesn't show subtitles. Is K-Lite a good codec? what are people using now?

when it comes to wonkiness on videos. I try vlc player as a primary. then default video player for windows 10 then media player classic.

I used to use k-lite, but I've been using VLC for the past few years. K-Lite works great, VLC was just easy to remember so I installed it pretty quick. I'd forgotten about K-Lite until this thread.

Always vlc, don't think I'll depend on a media player more than that.
