Do you guys think the confrontation with Imu will be at the same time as Akainu? Luffy has to fight him and Oda has stated in a purely combat sense, Akainu has the strongest DF. Maybe Dragon or Sabo fight Imu? All I know is Akainu is 100% the current top dog of OP in terms of strength. Oda also said if he was the protagonist he'd have found the One Piece by now

Luffy can't fight all of these guys, he only has a direct connection to Akainu and Blackbeard. I think Luffy will fight Blackbeard, not sure who fights the others.

Luffy will have to fight Akainu because he killed Ace. Blackbeard because he's the main protagonist yonka. Then Shanks maybe the curveball Luffy will have to fight to obtain One Piece. I hope he doesn't have to fight Shanks like that.

I agree, even though I'd say Luffy vs Imu is certainly likely, it's the least likely on that list. It'd be awesome if at the finale, or at least the final confrontation with the government, Dragon fights Imu
