Nope! That news was shocking. Makes sense cause she mentioned Sabo as if there was a connection. She should be connected to the Revolution Army in some way.

I think we knew that her dad was a Warlord or someone important.

So I went researching...and every time I do...I always realize how much I've forgotten. Like I remember we see Bonnie on Sabaody because we saw all of the new generation there...but Oda shows off devil fruit abilities and the like. I was surprised that Drake was a TRex in the last arc...I didnt know Hawkins was a strawman...Seeing Bonnie here -- I forgot that she can control people's age...etc etc

It was all shown then waaaaaaaaay back then (though it was roughly a decade ago...so forgetting is fair I guess)

Anyway -- they showed that Bonnie was upset and in tears that Kuma was a slave of the Tenryuubito during the reverie arc. They never confirmed the relationship. Also...there was a popular reddit theory that she was actually his mother (Connie)...and was using her devil fruit to stay in her prime to try to free him
