So I just watched Free Guy and is it me or does Channing Tatum just love doing cameos? He randomly pops up in all kinds of stuff, not only that he completely throws himself into the cameo, no matter how small.

Yeah I like how he doesn't give a fuck. He just loves what he does.

@DM, Legitimate question:

Do I intimidate you or something? You routinely ignore my posts and/or refuse to even acknowledge them.
Even for an Online message board, that's kind of rude man.

I was genuinely intrigued on what further thoughts you had considering how well stated they were, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered.

1)As I've mentioned in the past, none of us owe each other responses.

2)There wasn't anything specifically aimed at me other than disagreeing with the idea, although you went on a tangent that was well beyond what I had intended, I was basically thinking, "What is he going on about? I wasn't talking about this."

Maybe it wasn't worded clearly.

It's not necessarily the interrupting of a natural process that's the issue, taking medication to circumvent a birth defect is technically interrupting the natural process. The issue is that the procedure crushes the skull and rips apart the limbs of the child or sucks them out through a tube.

What I said was more commentary on the argument about unwanted pregnancy being like some kind of parasite and/or a violation of a woman's bodily autonomy. That's what the abortion crazies like to say. A fetus isn't a parasite even by definition considering one major characteristic is that a parasite is a different species to the host, also parasites don't leave your body, grow up, and have a life of their own separate from the host. The pregnancy isn't the violation, the rape would be the violation. I'm also not saying a woman shouldn't be allowed to have an abortion in that case.

So technically the actions you did (or that were done to you) to become pregnant would be violating your bodily autonomy. But, if I'm in a boxing match, I can't complain that the other guy violated my bodily autonomy when he punches me in the face. I chose to enter that ring knowing full well that I might get my face split open. I can have all the training and prep in the world but there's still a chance my ass is getting folded.

3)Addressing that bolded part, you have a habit of taking your post one line too far at times when addressing others. You go from making a passionate post to being a dick. We've all done it, I'm sure, I know I have and I'll typically catch myself and edit my post, taking that part out before anyone responded because I realized made me sound like a real dbag.

4) I will admit, knowing what I know about you from your decade of posting history I figured you don't like it when I do that and thus will purposefully ignore you just to troll. It's not a mature thing to do at all.

Not really intimidated
Just dispassionate a our most things

The important thing is being open to the possibility that you are wrong

I thought that was obvious Cane. I remember you actually made Raoul quit this site because of how annoying/dickish you were against him for no real reason other than not agreeing with what he said.

Yeah. How about this one, Pokemon is still a thing and when I mention to younger students (high school or younger) that I had Pokemon red, that's the equivalent of someone my age talking to me at 13 years old about shit from the 70s.

The oldest students in my first year in Japan are now almost 30 years old. They were 15 when I taught them and I was 23. Granted I wasn't that much older than they were (under 10 years) but still, when I meet younger people now my brain does this thing where it calculates that they could've been my student at one point.

EDIT: Apparently there is Fresh and Fit drama bubbling up again. I haven't been paying attention to them so I didn't know. They are being little bitches and trying to copyright strike people's videos who are responding to them and putting them on blast. Fresh recently got exposed big time for being a straight-up sugar daddy and paying for it.

I remember seeing the sugar daddy stuff because I ran into the video of DJ Akademiks grilling Fresh on the show about it and I saw a few videos blasting his ass, including Aba and Preach. I didn't know that they started doing those bitch mode copyright claims. Man, they really exude what many would refer to as "feminine energy".

killacross wrote: Mon Dec 13, 2021 8:05 am this is always the weirdest thing that I hear people argue. That it is not human. I get that on the micro, micro, micro scale -- cells all pretty much look and function the same. If only there was some type of information chain...perhaps 2 of them....wrapped around each other in a double helix type formation, that carried all of the genetic information required to ensure it would form into a human life -- it would be easy to determine if it was a human.

For me...the cut off is not "life" though as sperm is alive (eggs are not). However, when those two come together and create the literal spark of life -- it becomes sacred IMO. Doesn't matter if it's a single cell or 3 bajllion...it's now human, it always was from the moment of conception. (At least the potential to be a complete, healthy human is what I focus on)
By "human" I probably should have used "person." It's human DNA, but I don't consider it a person.

I had some questions for you about your stance but it got too long and I figured it wasn't worth it to keep the thread going, so... poof.

There are lots of things that make me feel old. I just kinda try not to think about it.

Quick question, what in our universe is human but not a person? Are there people that don't have human DNA?

You cannot be human and not a person. That doesn't work.

I was kinda in the same vein
...come over for my BBQ. I know, I know, it's human meat....but don't worry -- it's not person meat.

I don't understand the disconnect/separation either.

but ignore me...because I have essentially said you don't have rights at conception (I can''t think of where I would put the actual line of murder vs medical procedure). If it was viability -- it means that at some point in the future -- abortion should be illegal.

I pirated No Way Home. It's definitely the best out of the MCU Spider-Man films. Thoughts later.

Haha you must be one hard core Spider-Man fan. I can't sit through a camrip especially if it's something where visuals are important part of the movie.

Nope, watching that movie in the theaters lol. I think I'll watch a bootleg (but great quality) of Eternals this weekend. I haven't watched it yet.
