The Taliban have been preparing for this for years, they've known that the withdraw was inevitable and only a matter of time.'
A common quote being disseminated and supposedly attributed to an Taliban commander summed it up perfectly: "You have the watches, we have the time"
Ironically, when the Biden administration extended the time table originally set by trump for the full withdraw( Originally set for the first of may) it in effect gave the Taliban a few more months of preparation and diplomatic schmoozing to assure Both the defense and state departments that the commitments agreed were being followed, and that the transition would be seamless.

Biden put his whole leg in his mouth when he downplayed the parallels between this and the fall of Saigon, they are eerily similar.

This was never destined to play out any differently.
Definitely knew it was going to fall, didn't think it was going to fall that quickly. The US was still planning on having 3 weeks to get everyone out but it seems once the first couple of battles went to the taliban vs the afghan security forces, the rest of their army just laid down their weapons.
I think optics, or at least 'Projected optics" played a significant role in this. The original extension was for September, right around the 20th anniversary of 9/11. The administration then shortened it to the end of August.....I don't think they wanted the most lasting image of the commemoration to be troops pulling out of a region that harbored the very terrorist organization that attacked all those years ago.

But all this time shuffling created an unreasonable timeline, and subsequently produced optics far worse than what would have been plastered on the screens in September.

This was just poorly implemented from every fucking angle.
I think there are some really important distinctions from Saigon, but if after 20 years Afghanistan can't take care of itself that's its own problem. Not sure why Biden doesn't just go with that.

From what I've seen (not substantiated, but believable) is that things started going to shit during Obama's second term, and by the time Trump was nearing the end of his term it was already a shitshow but nobody cared. Trump and Obama were both so good at foreign policy it's shocking to me. SHOCKING. No one could ever have seen it. Ever.

Killa, the best part of that image is Obama in the corner. Almost got me to laugh out loud. Needs Tunak Tunak guy doing the dance in the corner.

So many things for me to whine about, but life's keeping me busy at least so you guys are lucky that I keep most of it to myself.

Kevin Samuel's monologue last night was obviously about the FF and AP situation

.. And geeeeezus the shit is so true!! The fact that this all happened a day or two ago and he can put together an INSIGHTFUL speech is just further proof about why I'd trust experience and wisdom over education and a theory 99% of the time.

***EDIT**
Also, what is this I see about Onlyfans banning pron?

Well, when OF stops, Subway will be hiring!!

Psh, like that saves you. Facebook still uniquely identifies people who don't use their services. Your ISP definitely knows what you do unless you're always using a VPN. You're saved from random person scrolling a twitter account looking for 10 year old tweets, but since Facebook or your ISP is allowed to (and does) sell your data, if someone wants it bad enough to pay for it they'll get it.

Not impossible...but I'm not going that high up -- so pretty unlikely. My most "dangerous" technology-thing is I have had the same cell number since middle-school (so, actually...since forever). Again, closet thing I have to social media is linkedin...and I don't post or like comments. Only a "Congrats on the promotion" type deal. Other than that...everybody likes a little guy on guy on guy on goat midget porn right?

This F&F shit has gone insane. I think it's fake to try to get some sympathy and put on a spectacle for the clicks. Just the way every thing is happening back to back and escalating at every turn. Starting to get fatigued

Serious question if the people that need help in Afghanistan (American citizens, American allies) are not vaccinated and don't want to be do you leave them behind?

You mean the break in incident or the whole Myron got some chick pregnant situation?

https://youtu.be/qKVSRXqsCDw

Spiderman No Way Home trailer. Cumberbatch is now the person responsible for shouldering the MCU now that RDJ and Chris Evans are gone and Chris Hemsworth might be pushed out potentially. Thing is he won't be able to do it with what Marvel has planned.

I am only interested in him and the potential for seeing Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield again.

Yea. The guy makes a show to complain. Then gets a buddy to film as he goes allll the way over. "Kicks in the door", to tell the guy to come outside. Or he kicks in the door to tell the other people "they are better than this". Or kicks in the door to shout out the other two and say A&P, don't worry I got him.

It's Florida -- you're allowed to chase people down, instigate a fight, then shoot them in self-defense. Seriously though, it's Florida -- after they kick in the door...you're allowed to shoot - in your house or not. No responsibility to flee. And with a house full of potential victims -- no one would bat an eye at a black man shooting another black man.

I dunno if it's fake but once a chink in the armor was discovered their world startes crashing down. They haven't been great at really handling it because people just don't trust them anymore.

It's the classic idea of trust taking forever to build and then taking only seconds to be destroyed.

EDIT: I am checking out parts of their video addressing things and the Anna Quinn fitness stuff is just all juvenile bullshit. They both handled that shit poorly.

The Nina situation from the start I didn't really see the big deal, Nina is a black hole of despair, darkness and sadness and so she just didn't like the situation she was offered. What she said seemed a bit suspect from the start.

It's all retarded trash.

The situation with the woman saying that he got her pregnant is WHY playing these games is a bad idea.

Although kudos for Myron saying his real name and his previous career.

I watched the whole thing - - and it's really all nonsense... And rich people problems... But looks like they finally turned the corner. Their subscriber count went up today

.. I wasnt subscribed to their show before and am not a subscriber now.. I don't even care enough to watch an episode because I assume it's more of the same 6 ft tall, 6 figures, 6 inches, 6 pack.. No thanks. The only thing I respect is Fresh said mother fuck the hatred.. And then said fuck PMP when he was in the charts, cheering them on after putting out a video every day talking about be better.

I did subscribe to Aba and preach behind all of this
... Did you see the young fan boy on the Duke and Don Channel?

Took less than 2 hours to break him - - but he ain't no bitch and he's built different

Also, the Aba interview on the no jumper podcast was really good

I did see the fan "debate" on Duke and Don. That kid was out of his league. He clearly had never been in a situation where the opposite person has experience in putting arguments together. He was a tiny boy in an arena with men. It was kinda like when a leftist who's never been challenged (because the culture supports their views) goes up against someone with the opposite views that constantly has to defend those views. The other person is much better at it due to having to do it more often.

I also watched the No Jumper interview. Adam was trying so hard not to be negative about F&F while agreeing with Aba on everything.

Also, when Adam started talking about PUAs talking about 1500 lay counts I knew exactly who he was talking about. John Anthony Lifestyle. This guy has been going after F&F for months and I also thought his time was better spent focusing on his business. This guy is living in Brazil w/ 3 girls and while I am sure his techniques help men approach women if you try to go to his extreme you will ultimately be miserable. Which is what they touched on in the interview. Sleeping with 1500 women is not only a stupid idea that is bad for your soul, it really does say more about what's missing in yourself that needs addressing. It also gets old. It really does.

In the No Jumper interview when they spoke about religion, one thing I wished they mention in regards to religion is that religion put constraints on human behavior because of a fundamental understanding of human nature and how w/o a set of universal ethics and morals we run amuck. (TANGENT TIME) Christianity in particular address this the "best" because out of the big three Abrahamic religions it is the only one that applies to all. Judaism and Islam are highly tribal/in-group preference religions. Basically us and them. I mean, the Orthodox Jewish community, especially Hasidic Jew is well known for operating mostly within it's own community for things and dealing with mostly their own. Not hating, just an observation. It is also very hard to convert to Judaism and technically your Jewish only if your mom is. They don't want others. Whereas Christianity's whole thing is to talk about it and to convince others WITH THE WORD about the glory of god (not to force people). And then there is Islam which is...well...complicated. But also not known for spreading the word through evangelism. It's historically known for spreading through the sword and even then they aren't super open about wanting converts. (END TANGENT)

As society has become more and more secular, it's clear how the further we've gone from religion the more degenerate we've become as a society. I think Stefan Molyneux(not here to argue w/ how you feel about him) came up with a solid secular ethic framework through his development of UPB(Universal Preferable Behavior).

But religion did a good job of keeping us from eating one another. The problem was that the reason was ultimately just "because God said so" and that isn't really the most satisfying answer. Even in cultures like East Asia where Abrahamic religions aren't nearly as strong there was a religious-like adherence to a framework of ethics.

EDIT: Anna Quinn is on Duke and Don right now with that dude Ayindei(that whole break-in shit was so dumb). I can't imagine the pain she is going through with the baby BUT she seems to be loving that stress that she was told to stay away from. Unless she has just resigned herself to talking about all this because she's losing the baby anyway. Which would still be kinda morbid.

I know it's all trash but it's like a car accident, I just can't help but check it out for a little bit.

We're not morally degenerating, and a moral compass doesn't require religion. We've had alternate systems of morality for centuries. Our crime is WAY down from decades ago, when more of the US was religious. Crime trends/degeneracy are much more aligned with income level and education. It doesn't matter how peaceful a religion is, the people practicing it aren't. Look at all the people who don't read the Bible claiming things they don't like are against their religion when it's exactly the opposite... Or just all the pedophiles in/protected by the Catholic church. We literally butchered millions of people in the name of religion, again the opposite of keeping people from eating each other. Religion is probably one of the biggest scapegoats in history for violence, Christianity included.

Now if everyone could do what Jesus said and love thy neighbor, as opposed to literally killing them by going maskless or staying unvaccinated. FFS. Religious exemption from masks and vaccines my ass.

Yes, humans make justifications for doing terrible things, everyone already knows this. Doesn't invalidate what I said.

You think I am talking about crime when I say degenerate culture? Nope. I wasn't talking about crime.

But since you brought it up, this idea that poverty causes crime is also false. The Appalachian area is among the poorest in America but crime is low. Japan has areas that are considered poor and not everyone is necessarily educated and rampant crime isn't a problem. I also think you will find similar situations in Scandinavia and places like that as well.
