Update: Baby and wife are doing fine, the birth went relatively well despite the fact that my wife refused local anesthesia(don't ask, old argument).
We had a bit of a scare with a nuchal cord situation, which isn't uncommon but the Dr. thinks it was wrapped around tighter than normal so she's tucked away in the NICU and will probably be there longer than we expected just out of an abundance of caution.

We named her Ciará (pronounced "Kira") after my grandmother and she's by all accounts a perfectly healthy baby girl.
I wasn't allowed in the room during birth because of obvious reasons but I can report no Doctors were pummeled(although there was this one smirking male nurse who I wanted to drop down a well of used hypodermic needles...)

We're tired but overjoyed and I'm slowly conditioning myself to long sleepless nights.

I'm also dying for a smoke but I quit years ago and I'm not about to start now, it took every ounce of willpower I had not to rush out and buy a pack when they shooed me out the room.
Power naps were semi successfully, I'm trying to get as much sleep in while I can because obviously I'm not going to have a whole lot of opportunities later.

The wife has turned into a glutton and I'm keeping my mouth shut, I can't eat a thing.
Just want to get her home.

Thank you all for your congratulations, it means a lot. This will probably be the last time I post for a while, but I'll try and give updates when I can.

And no, the Irony is not lost on me that we were only two days away from having a Saint Patrick's day birth...I'm still listening to the jokes....

Apparently, the guy said he didn't do it to target Asians. I guess we'll have to wait and see but typically white supremacists aren't shy about saying they did it because of white supremacy.

Guess which racial group commits the most hate crimes against Asians? The percentage still isn't super high but among that statistic, this group is at the highest.

Also, I noticed this whole Stop Asian Hate campaign as an interesting habit of conflating hate crimes with crimes against people that just happen to be Asian and the reverse meaning that crimes that are hate crimes against Asians aren't considered such because the perpatrator isn't white.


I think the term "hate crime" is nonsense anyway. The evil and crime comes from the murdering people which inherently contains hate and a disregard for life. Whether you did it because you didn't like the person or you did it because of their race is irrelevant. The heinous act is the murder itself.

This one is weird cause even though he didn't do it for hatred of their skin he was clearly targeting a specific group to inflict pain (Asians) and whip them off the earth. So I guess you can it can fall under a hate crime on technicality?

What? That makes no sense. Hate crime requires intent to commit the crime specifically because of someone's race (I mean a racial hate crime). He said that wasn't his motivation.

He wasn't motivated but they were STILL targeting a specific group. It's the Asians running those establishments. He's north of Atlanta. He didn't try to shoot up some black establishments or white. I get were you are coming from but meh I wouldn't fight/debate the left for this, let them have it lol.

The "funniest" part about all of this is that they are now targetting Kamala as their "token yellow friend" -- and asking about Anti-Asian sentiment and programs that she would like to see implemented. I bet there are about to be a slew of articles about how she looks so presidential

No one told me that Directors Cut Justice League was freaking 4hrs wtf!!!! Totally worth my freaking time, wow! Didn't think I would enjoy that much since I seen the original.

There is a up to the time Kung-Fu series called Handsome Siblings on Netflix. They are really bringing Kung-Fu back. It exceeded my expectations. The action is amazing and it's funny and clever too. Check out the first 2 episodes at least. Plus the Asian actress are fine as fuck!

Two factors that I imagine being in play are that a) despite being 5% of the Atlanta population, all of his targets were Asians and none were prostitutes and b) given the increased amount of violence against Asians the past year, it has to look like they're doing something to recognize it.

Except for its usually black people(men), that's the group that victimizes Asians the most so they aren't really doing something to recognize it because nobody wants to talk about that.
