So is she then the real villain? Clearly the Gun Devil is not a good devil but Makima being who she is I guess it's like she's worse.

I mean, all those devils are just devils, they do what's in their nature, they're not necessarily bad or evil, imo.

But holy shit talk about epic entrances. Loss of words HOLY SHIT.

I reread the hell chapters (64-66). Makima came out ahead against the Darkness devil, who they imply is one of the transcendent devils, though he got a big stab in at the end. She also was able to command the head to speak just by touching it, and it was an enemy as well - so there doesn't seem to be any need for coercion. She required the Hell Devil to escape (at least with Denji/the others), but they also say that the transcendent devils are much stronger than the Gun devil, so I guess we'll see why she wants/needs him.

Hax. I liked how they did the chapter with all of the names. Felt like something a little different, even if I didn't read any of them.

Fight taken off panel, that last line of the chapter. Chapter just pissed me off.

This whole character development/regression for Denji is antithetical to anything I can relate to, so I'm hoping this ends next chapter with Denji waking the hell up.

Well, I guess that's one way of Denji waking the hell up. Not particularly sure why Denji cares about his father though.
