..i had such a celebrity crush on her. Also, I have a thing for the dark hair and bright blue eyes. Same is true for Alexis Bledel and Zooey Deschanel and the mom on Gilmore girls
Uff!!

Apparently she had a liver transplant a month ago and her body may have rejected it but who knows.killacross wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 6:46 pm Michele travhentkebtractenbug dead at 39

Him, his wife, and one of their dogs. They said they had been dead a while because the bodies were starting to rot. No CO deteceted. No gas leaks detected. She had a bottle of Rx pills with her.Digital Masta wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 10:19 pm EDIT: Gene Hackman died. 95 years old and what's strange is that both he and his wide were found dead and she is 30 years younger than him.
NGL I didn't remember the needle thing you mentioned so I thought we were just spewing shit. I was making a philly joke by morphing the n95 news.
My test is basically "is it after infinity war?"
Bruno Mars is getting clowned in the comments. This kind of degeneracy is expected from Sexy Red but wtf was Bruno Mars thinking?killacross wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2025 7:32 am Late to discuss this - have you all heard the new Bruno Mars / Sexy Red song - Fat, Juicy, and Wet?
THIS is exactly what I mean about black culture.

Ww3? With what Russian army or allies? If Vance wasn't intentionally trying to sabotage everything then holy shit.
C'mon xx, Zelensky let his ego get in the way. All he had to do was grin and nod. He could have had that same argument with Vance and Trump behind closed doors. It was an epic failure and majority of ppl don't want to fund this war.xandorxerxes wrote: ↑Sun Mar 02, 2025 3:36 amWw3? With what Russian army or allies? Trump browbeat Zelenskyy until he caved on hobbling his country's economic future, then these jokers sabotage their own golden goose. In doing so we're receiving the mockery and condemnation of the world and we're driving our (former) allies and partners to our enemies. I hope Europe just gives Ukraine nukes at this point.
The suit comment was just the putrid icing on the rotten cake. Musk spews garbage from whatever orifice is on his face from the oval office in a ball cap and t-shirt.
You're stopping one step too soon. Yes, all he had to do was smile and nod. Throw some comments about how Trump is a genius and you're his new best friend. This man - who has been smiling and nodding for years - just aggressively blew up a potential deal.San Goku wrote: ↑Sun Mar 02, 2025 4:07 am C'mon xx, Zelensky let his ego get in the way. Yes WW3, a military superpower that has as much nukes or more than the U.S. Zelensky doesn't have options, continuing the war is not on the table. Making a business deal is essentially guarantees as the US will protect their business interests.
What did you think of the expression of the Ukrainian Ambassador to the US facepalm expression watching her top diplomat make a fool of himself? Trump was trying to be chill at first.
It was just his ego and wanting to continue the war, nothing more an epic failure. The part that triggered Zelensky was when Vance talked about Trump being about diplomacy and Biden not. Nothing what Vance said there was directed at him. You want to talk about sayings, here is a good one that's tried and true. *Never Bite the Hand that Feeds You*. Zelensky coming to the Oval office puffing out his chest like he is on the same level. It's obvious that it's because of US support Ukraine is sticking around. You either want US support or you don't. Zelensky can't dictate how that support is given. Another saying for that is *Beggers Can't Be Choosers*.xandorxerxes wrote: ↑Sun Mar 02, 2025 5:14 amYou're stopping one step too soon. Yes, all he had to do was smile and nod. So... Why? What was it this time that was different?
Something got so bad that Zelenskyy blew up a relationship with the US in a wartime scenario. It wasn't just being needled in the oval office. The US has everything to lose by blowing up this deal, and now we lost it. For what? So we could say that Zelenskyy never said thank you (even though he did... A lot)?
"Better to die on your feet than live on your knees" it is.
I was hoping US would do a big mineral deal with Canada, specifically in Northern Ontario's Ring of Fire. We have been sitting on a gold mine for years but can't build the infrastructure and complexities with Native treaties.Digital Masta wrote: ↑Sun Mar 02, 2025 11:02 am One thing I don't like is thus whole mineral extortion idea from the US. We don't need it and it just connects us to getting involved in Ukraine's shit again.
We're going to be involved regardless. I am a fan of it because it should stalemate the area. Ukraine will basically fight until they are all killed. Russia has no reason to negotiate with Ukraine. They barely have a reason to negotiate with Europe. Of course...this was years ago before their military aged men have been churned through. Also, that was speculation because there were tons of reports about hte Russian military being woefully unprepared (which military leadership had all become multi millionaires). Who knows what is actually going on at this point?Digital Masta wrote: ↑Sun Mar 02, 2025 11:02 am One thing I don't like is thus whole mineral extortion idea from the US. We do need it - US has amazing natural resources, but rare earth minerals aren't one of them. Tech uses a whole lot of them. This deal was basically free for us, Putin gets what he wants and we get a shit ton of money. Putin ignores the deal later and so do we.Digital Masta wrote: ↑Sun Mar 02, 2025 11:02 am One thing I don't like is thus whole mineral extortion idea from the US. Supposedly we have leaked kgb intelligence that puts Russia's death rate at about 2.5x Ukraine's... Or about 50x released Russian numbers. I didn't know the context on the thank you... But that almost makes it more absurd. Zelenskyy wanted one thing - security guarantees - and the US wasn't giving it. We wanted half their minerals for a nebulous "oh yeah our mining will be there so we'll probably protect you."killacross wrote: ↑Sun Mar 02, 2025 2:40 pm We're going to be involved regardless. ...No more blank checks.
Zelenskyy knows Trump does whatever Putin wants. Trump spits Russian talking points, he insults Ukraine. Zelenskyy accepting the deal at all when the US wasn't even giving security guarantees was him holding his nose and swallowing the poison pill. Then he shows up and gets insulted some more? Yeah, he broke when a better statesman might not. The whole setup is stupid.San Goku wrote: ↑Sun Mar 02, 2025 11:53 am It was just his ego and wanting to continue the war, nothing more an epic failure.
