Gaban is Gol Roger's right hand man after all, that message was probably understated. He is more that capable of killing Luffy so jumping to Gear 5 quickly makes sense, but it could have been executed way better.

Back to the silliness for a sec from last chapter. He impregnated a Giant. That has to take crazy amount of core strength and haki. He's gotta be a beast.
