Re: Attack on Titan / Shingeki no Kyojin
how much longer on the series? The anime is starting or has started Pt 1 /2 of the final season. I wanna go back and binge the manga...then binge the anime with the wife in 2021.

Isayama said in November this year that there is only 1-2% left in the story. He was originally aiming to have it done in 2020 so likely sometime next year.killacross wrote: ↑Sat Dec 12, 2020 7:53 am how much longer on the series? Is the anime pulling a Full Metal and just doing their own ending?

Not sure...I remember minor differences. The major one is that the anime is more linearly told than the manga. But I thought I saw they were doing a pt 1 and pt 2...FMAB ended like 2 weeks after the manga...so the animation quality PLUMMETED the last few episodes. I hope that doesn't happen here.

I posted in the anime thread a link that said they were going to compress the last couple chapters/arc into a movie or something. I don't read the manga but I assume it's relevant here.killacross wrote: ↑Mon Dec 14, 2020 5:06 pm Not sure...I remember minor differences. I'm just sad that Levi can't be a part of this.

Personally I didn’t have much to say but what makes you think that?Digital Masta wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 10:29 am Chapter made me a feel a bit emotional. But its kind of a cop out.

Just in terms of the vagueness of Zeke's statement and the whole power of friendship thing. We still haven't really learned squat about Ymir.Colep924 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 12:55 pmPersonally I didn’t have much to say but what makes you think that?Digital Masta wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 10:29 am Chapter made me a feel a bit emotional. Re: Attack on Titan / Shingeki no Kyojin
Yeah, I get that everyone was connected and in theory convincing them all to switch sides would have been an OK plot point, but even though it wasn't all of them that switched just the ones that did seemed to switch on a whim. Too easy/quick, wish it was a slower change without it suddenly happening right as everyone was at their end of their rope. Not sure why most would switch to begin with, I thought most everyone wanted the Eldians dead.

Re: Attack on Titan / Shingeki no Kyojin
I don’t think any of them switched sides. Ymir was controlling them, they simply woke up. There’s still two chapters left, I don’t think it’s over just yet. The writer said he wants to end the series similar to the ending of The Mist. I imagine some shits gonna go down next chapter.

And I'm pretty sure I mentioned he would cop-out with the Lelouch defense.
Paradis is still filled with assholes though.
