So I'm guessing Skull Knight eventually killed the 4 previous God Hand members. They are all different.

I was so pleased to have a new chapter (I still am) but it was very short. It's great to have more backstory but I do still want more forward progression.

The wait is such a pain. If the wait meant that we got a bigger chapters or that we would get a consistent run of 6 months with regular releases I wouldn't have an issue.

At this point in time I'm also happy for Muira to just write and oversee his apprentices illustrate... although Duranki kind of demonstrates how little he is happy to abdicate and that's with a side project designed to give them things to do.

3 thoughts follow this chapter release:

- Damn, that was too short
- SkullKnight back story is great to see but... this suggests that he's taken out 4 God Hand already which is slightly disappointing as comparatively Gutts may be left wanting. With that said if he did take them out he also let 4 more be created so his absence needs an explanation. Recovery from the - Berserk armour perhaps? I have far more questions but have to set my expectation that they will probably go unanswered.
- I thought Muira had Covid and died... In my haste I misread the message at the end and it scared the shit out of me.

We've had 3 chapters this year which is 50% more than 2019 which is good. I do want more though.

Goddamn it Berserk is like an abusive ex.

The slow releases AND the extremely slow pace also lowers the re-reading value... I might at some point do it, but goddamn.

it is definitely worth the reread....you've forgotten a ton and the art is beautiful

...the only issue is that you will catch up to the current chapter so quickly because there have only been like 5 chapters this last decade
...it's probably been 10+ years since we had consistent, monthly releases

My guess is that he took them out after receiving the power he has now which is currently seemingly beyond what Guts has at the moment.

That has been known since Guts got the armor. It originally looked like Skull Knight and had been heavily implied that Skull Knight was using it before.

^^ This chapter showed when Skull Knight was human and how the Beserker armor fed on his rage and ultimately consumed him when he was still human.

We need a Skull Knight gaiden.... But only after we've advance the story.
