Re: Attack on Titan / Shingeki no Kyojin
how much longer on the series? The anime is starting or has started Pt 1 /2 of the final season. I wanna go back and binge the manga...then binge the anime with the wife in 2021.

Isayama said in November this year that there is only 1-2% left in the story. He was originally aiming to have it done in 2020 so likely sometime next year.killacross wrote: ↑Sat Dec 12, 2020 7:53 amhow much longer on the series? Is the anime pulling a Full Metal and just doing their own ending?

Not sure...I remember minor differences. The major one is that the anime is more linearly told than the manga. But I thought I saw they were doing a pt 1 and pt 2...FMAB ended like 2 weeks after the manga...so the animation quality PLUMMETED the last few episodes. I hope that doesn't happen here.

I posted in the anime thread a link that said they were going to compress the last couple chapters/arc into a movie or something. I don't read the manga but I assume it's relevant here.killacross wrote: ↑Mon Dec 14, 2020 5:06 pmNot sure...I remember minor differences. I'm just sad that Levi can't be a part of this.
