I told you guys Megan and Harry are gonna make their son become a real life Donflamingo. Trying to reject your eternal royal status.

Megan better be careful they don't make her become an accident like Princess Diana.

One of the gossip rag articles I read essentially said it was about money. They're basically giving up nothing going off of the royal stipend or whatever, and their potential earnings they couldn't otherwise have takes a massive leap. Doesn't hurt that it gets them out of dealing with the media. Obviously could be full of shit, but enjoy an extra potential reason.

...if they just hold out long enough...some "news" outlet will offer to pay back their stipend money in exchange for an interview

...they will not be hurting for anything

Also - yeah... wtf Harry? you're a royal and being controlled by the actress who played Rachel in Suits? Who is this girl even...

I went to school to be a Mechanical Engineer
Left for 2 years to take care of my grandmother until she passed
Went back to school and was kicked out of the ME program (it was incredibly competitive and they basically bullshitted me for a lot of nonsense)
Changed majors to being an Environmental Engineer (because I thought the world was changing in this direction and they offered to convert the most credit hours towards the degree)
Worked as an Env. Eng for 1 yr.
Worked as a Pharma Eng. Tech for 3 years
Worked as a Pharma Eng. for 3 years
Started at the current company 10 miles from home as a Sr Pharma Eng in 2018

This is the price you pay for giving up your Royal status.

He married her well before that AND he didn't fully give up his royal status. Not like his great-great uncle (I believe) did who became a commoner, and abdicated his thrown to marry an American woman. They are not commoners.

Am I ignorant arguing with the wife about my boy not needing a rash guard to go swimming in? I'm like he has all melanin in the world.

Not familiar...is rash guard the same as sunscreen? then yes...babies should use it.

their body doesnt get efficient at producing melanin until about 4 years old...
my daughter is half black, half hispanic
when she was born...she looked white

now she is darker than my wife...but no where as brown as me (I'm a milk chocolate complexion).

unrelated...a few years ago I learned that black people can get sunburned. We were swimming at one of the beaches in nicaragua. I remember my shoulder itching...then peeling like crazy. I didnt realize what it was for several days because I have played outside all my life and never once considered sunburn. Granted, it was the temperate sun of the states vs the tropical sun of central america...but sunburn none the less

skin cancer affects everyone. I'm very white, grew up in Hawaii, my mom has had 3, very early stage 1( essentially stage 0) melanomas, my brother has had 1. while those with darker skin are less susceptible to skin cancer, the 5 year survival rate from melanoma in those with darker skin is about 60% compared to the 95% in lighter skin because it tends to go undiagnosed.

psa, visit your dermatologist once a year

it's weird

My exact train of thought was...
waking up from a nap
saw it as Yahoo cover story "Kobe Bryant dead in helicopter crash"
Man, they got the title all wrong...Kobe was injured. I wonder who died though. **clicks the article**
They keep saying Kobe was confirmed dead...but maybe they mean he owned the helicopter and it's his associates
Is Kobe really dead? **goes to wikipedia**
WOW, can't believe it

...this is the second time it has happened to me. The first was Michael.

I just woke up to this news and it is sitting with me. Going through the transitions I'm going through in life, trying to figure shit out, man I can't waste time with the shit I truly don't want to do and with people I truly don't care for.
